Yesterday I officially took over the chairmanship of the Art Society Board Speakers Bureau, which will be helpful as many of the team have been contacting me already and I have had to defer to the previous chair, even though she and I both knew I was going to be taking over.  So that's done and I can add yet another responsibility to my life.

We saw Wild Hogs last night, good fun.  John McGinley (Dr. Cox) does a bit as a cop that is fantastic.  Unfortunately the theater was having an issue with the focus -- the whole screen would be out of focus, then just the right, then the left, then all in focus, back and forth.  It was okay for a section that was all shot in the same place, and ( Read more... )

Wasted (?) almost a day in Second LIfe yesterday.  Got stuck in a wall, spent way too much time updating my AV, and then got lost in a scary dark place with a guy in black clothing and white dreds, and was finally rescued by a nice guy named Brad.  Can't wait to go back!
